Whether you're beginning your preparation or looking to refine your readiness, our Professional Engineering (PE) licensure–exam study sessions offer a valuable combination of expert guidance, peer support, and practical application. 

This year's sessions begin July 8 and continue biweekly in advance of the October 28 exam. Check the ASABE calendar for dates and times.

Each 90-minute session focuses on a different component of the PE exam, ensuring broad coverage of key subject areas. This targeted approach allows participants to revisit core concepts, identify knowledge gaps, and develop effective problem-solving strategies aligned with the exam format.

A standout feature of the program is the opportunity to engage directly with professionals who have successfully completed the PE exam. These experienced engineers share practical insights, study strategies, and lessons learned, offering valuable perspective that goes beyond textbooks. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, discuss challenging topics, and gain clarity on expectations for exam day.

In addition to guided review, each session includes practice problems and sample questions that simulate the types of challenges candidates will encounter on the exam. Working through these exercises in a collaborative setting reinforces understanding and builds test-taking confidence.

The program also emphasizes personalized support. With small-group interaction and one-on-one mentorship opportunities, participants receive individualized guidance tailored to their unique preparation needs. This mentorship component helps foster accountability, motivation, and a deeper level of engagement throughout the study period.
