This professional development session, led by Joe Dvorak, University of Kentucky, focuses on the practical process of developing AI-enabled tools for agricultural applications using modern AI-assisted development workflows. Rather than emphasizing specific programs, the presentation highlights the planning and development process that can be implemented with AI coding agents.
Joe Dvorak is an Associate Professor and the Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on automation through agricultural artificial intelligence. This intelligence enables large farmers to manage large farmers to manage every animal, plant, or land parcel as if it were their only one. It can also enable part-time/small-holder producers to farm as if they were full-time and had many employees available around the clock.
Those in attendance will receive 1 PDH, certificate to be distributed by email after completion of session.
