From the Executive Director

I'm writing to you today with great enthusiasm to share some important news about the future of our Society.
The ASABE leadership and staff have been hard at work developing an updated strategic plan, a roadmap designed to better serve you and the future of our profession. This new plan is focused on three key pillars: increasing member engagement, enhancing professional development opportunities, and growing awareness of the vital role agricultural and biological engineers play in the world. We believe these strategic priorities will bring more value to your membership and strengthen our collective impact. We are committed to creating a more connected, dynamic, and influential ASABE for all.
Our team is dedicated to building a strategic plan that reflects the needs and aspirations of our diverse membership. As we finalize this plan, we're focused on creating tangible outcomes that will enhance your experience, whether that's through new networking events, innovative learning resources, or broader recognition of our profession's contributions. We look forward to sharing more details about the plan's specific initiatives in the coming weeks.
I invite you to share your encouraging thoughts and suggestions as we all work together to shape a vibrant and prosperous future for ASABE. Reach out to me at calhoun@asabe.org.
Thank you for your continued dedication and support.

Cedric Calhoun
