ASABE is led by a 15-member Board of Trustees, who ensure ASABE fulfills its missions of facilitating the exchange of technical information and promoting the science and art of engineering in agricultural, food, and biological systems.
As a membership-driven organization, ASABE strongly encourages its members to become involved in the activities of the Society. These activities are carried out by executive-level committees that report to the Board of Trustees, as well as the Society's five councils, Membership Development, Meetings, Publications, Strategic Initiatives, and Standards.
Society activities are also conducted through geographic Sections, affiliated Communities, and special programs, including an active Preprofessionals (student) group for individuals contemplating or preparing for a career in agricultural, food, and biological engineering.
