ABOUT

Canadian Public Review is a required part of ASABE’s role as an SCC‑accredited Standards Development Organization. Each draft National Standard of Canada must be made available for public comment for a minimum review period, typically 60 days.

This process ensures that Canadian stakeholders including manufacturers, producers, regulators, researchers, and the general public have the opportunity to review the draft, submit comments and contribute to the development of a high‑quality, consensus‑based national standard.

All submitted comments are forwarded to CASSO for consideration and formal response as part of the standards development record.
