FROM THE ISB PRESIDENT

ISB President Paige Seibert
2023–2024 ISB President Paige Seibert

Hi everyone! We're just weeks away from AIM!

The International Student Branch (ISB) will be hosting two events at AIM 2024, a social on Sunday evening and the annual business meeting and officer elections on Tuesday afternoon.

The annual ISB social will be held on Sunday, July 28, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. This will be an opportunity to meet students from other schools. Current ISB officers will also explain their roles and open nominations for officer positions for the 2024-2025 school year.
The annual business meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 30, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. This is where new officers will be elected! Prospective officers should arrive at the business meeting at 3 pm and will have the opportunity to give a 2- to 3-minute speech on why they should be elected. Voting will take place at the business meeting as well.

Our officers are excited to attend and hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Congratulations, Recent Graduates!

Congratulations to all agricultural and biological engineering and technology graduates!

NC State Claims 1/4-Scale Victory

2024 NC State Quarter-Scale Team

Records are made to be broken, right? And sometimes they provide motivation toward further heights.

Such was the case for North Carolina State University, who topped their own best-ever finish, achieved just last year, to take home the 2024 championship trophy in the ASABE International 1/4-Scale Tractor Student Design Competition.

In 2023 the Pack Pullers celebrated a third-place finish, the team's highest finish in their history of competing.

Rounding out the top five finishers in the 2024 contest were runner-up Kansas State University, followed by South Dakota State University, Purdue University, and the University of Missouri. Twenty teams from the U.S. and Canada competed in the 2024 event.

Help Us Stay in Touch!

As a student you're likely living a mobile life, moving from campus, to home, back to campus, off to an internship. Along the way, we want to do our best to keep you informed, using the appropriate channels and in a way that makes you proud to be an ASABE member.

To that end, we've put together a short questionnaire. Would you mind taking a look and giving us your honest feedback? Do so by the end of April and you could snag $50 in ASABE Bucks, to spend on merchandise, meeting registration, or more.

Take the survey.
